Laboratory tests
Sometimes samples of urine, blood, saliva, stool or tissue may also be required from a patient in order to determine the causative factors involved in an illness or it may simply be the need for more detailed information eg in the case of thyroid disease.

Test kits are ordered through Milennium Medicine and are sent out to the patient's address.Once completed the patient then sends them to the lab for analysis and results are sent to Millennium Medicine ready for interpretation within a consultation either at the clinic room or by telephone.The turn around time for results is generally between one and two weeks depending upon which particular test is chosen.
